2009 Uptown Vision Plan

To create a community by choice rather than chance, in February 2009 Uptown came together to determine a shared vision for the future. Over 100 residents, students, institutional representatives, business owners, city planners, community advocates and other change-makers voiced their needs and imaginations through a thoughtfully lead and energetic process by Rothschild Doyno Collaborative.

The Uptown Vision Plan is the product of that effort. It was created with the goal of fostering development by balancing community needs, drawing upon Uptown’s unique physical qualities, and identifying market opportunities.
